The Covid-19 pandemic has transformed the world as we knew it, making social distance a norm and digital function a necessity. While it has presented a threat to businesses with traditional formats, and made many shut down, for some it has opened up a new world of opportunities.
The Singapore Government has started ‘Digital Resilience Bonus’ under which it has allocated 352.49 million Dollars to help small businesses install digital upgrades to counter the setbacks that the global pandemic has brought upon them. Helping food and beverage and retail businesses are the prime focus of this initiative. From e-payments to e-invoicing, the need for digital tools is immediate and imperative.
